Washington Post's intelligence survey is web journalism that's built to last
The Washington Post's survey of US intelligence services was a big undertaking and they are making the most of it on this website. It's a brilliant presentation of the series and the data and background stories that make it up.
Check out the video, and useful map / data visulation to illustrate the story.
As @techpresident points out, they even bought their own domain name - topsecretamerica.com. So the survey effectively has a brand which they are making the most of in search results... also suggests it is a topic they will (or at least can) return to with all the web presence in place they will need to reinvigorate the story... the story literally has presence, is built to last.
