Finally got round to converting my old cassettes into MP3s, here's the first result - two sides from a tape marked simply "Understand this groove".

For all the Spotify / iTunes access to back catalogues, the real sound of that era for me and my friends was the mix-tape. The sound quality is a pit patchy and there are definitely some dodgy mixing skills going on on this one but, goodness what tunes...
